    Nice audio. You just don't know until it is gone.

    I was in Dolores Yard the day of the change over. Of course, nothing was different that day; all of the changes came later. It seemed like it would go on forever.

    Thanks guys. I just wish I would have started recording the radio earlier. But I thought it would be around forever.:(

    There was a special place in my heart for the Southern Pacific. It's guys like you, Thom, that helps keep the Southern Pacific alive and well today!!

    Recorded this back in April of 1978 along the Salton Sea. Just set a tape player next to the crossing. You could hear the train well before actually seeing it! Poor quality so turn it up!
