One more thing I have noticed. Venders like to see layouts like Ntrak at a train show. First they attract more people to the show and second the club members are usually hard core buyers and will spend money.
Yeah, our Ntrak club modules. We take the same old modules everytime. While we can't make new modules every week we can have some different stuff. So to meet this percieved need some of us are working on not only new modules but some new concepts in modules. One of them is designed to eliminate that "same old, same old" scenario with [trumpets please] modular scenery for modular modules. The frame, legs, track and electrical are permanent but the scenery can be altered. One week its a town module the next a forrest and the next a mountain with a rock face and stream. That may not be an original idea but it will add some diversity.
The Calgary show which around 12000 people pay to attend gives back 70 percent of the profit to the displays. It is dived by the square feet and scale. The Garden club gets a great check out of it.
