Someone asked about this I forgot whom. but the company that makes the CD is Allen kellers video.

Lances layout is what I see as the current state of the N art. There are others but I think Lance nailed it best!

I saw this when it was released, on VHS. I recall there being unfinished areas of the layout. So, I am wondering- Was this video ever updated to show his completed scenery?

I fear the N scale Monon is no more, I believe Lance has dismantled it in favour of HO scale. I bought a whole load of the rolling stock through N Scale Supply's pre owned section and they are excellent pieces, superbly weathered as you would expect.

The other inspiring layout for me currently Phil Reed's Clinch River, its been in Model Railroad Planning magazine and there have been construction articles in NSR, I would love to see more of this layout.

Yep! Phil's layout is excellent also. I also like Bill Dentons layout also, the trackwork is great.

I saw Lance's layout in person, and it was fantastic. Even though it was in August and about 120 outside, his mid-winter layout (no snow, just dormant fields and forests) gave you a chill just to look at it.

Phil Brooks (not Reed) will be in Louisville in two weeks and hopefully will bring some of his models to share.
