Does anyone have experience with the MRC sound decoders that they would like to share? Good, bad, stay away from ??????

    Thanks

I have three loco's with MRC Sheer Brilliance "Plug n Play" decoder/speaker's installed (all are steam decoders...) and the only problem I had was one of them sounded "tinny" until I tweaked the speaker a little bit. They do not have the sound quality of my Tsunami decoders, but they are a good buy for the money.

There's been a thread or two in the last year or so about these, so give the search function a bash.

Mixed opinions I think - depends a bit on what you want and/or already have.

How about those plug and play for N scale locos?
I would be willing to give them a shot if they would make them for more locos.

I like the new Sounder sound-only decoders from MRC. I still stick with DigiTrax for the motor control.
