Here is an oldie from the files. Viewed from the back of the module to give a different perspective than what is normally seen. And look, a yellow stop sign.
Good one, I thought this was outside at first. For those who are too young to know, stop signs were yellow with black writing before 1954. One of my favorite scenes is a Casey Jones steamer rolling through an obviously 1920's model town scene with the new red stop sign at a street corner!?? Cheers, Jim CCRR
I'm just old enough to remember them! But in those days I always wondered why my grandpa drove around town looking for 19.9 gas when there was 23.3 gas--yes, I thought the signs were miles per gallon, rather than price per gallon.
Look what I found lying around at the LHS this morning. When I saw what's on the lower right hand corner I couldn't pass it up. Being I'm pretty much an Athearn magnet I had to have it. I also picked up these two items.
Hey Jeffrey, What company makes the locomotive and cars? Looks like some IM and MT--? Just wondering, didn't think the Big A made that stuff. Wolf
One of my 18-ton Climax resin kits, with a custom railroad decal, paint and weathering job requested by the buyer: I gotta tell ya, I love weathering chalks! Rich Yourstone gave me the courage to try, and life has never quite been the same since.
Great show, fellas. I literally had to throw this crane together for a deadline on another forum, and I guess the whole image lacks a certain presence...involvement, details, action, etc. But, it's all I have for this week. :tb-err:
That's the funniest-looking "Warbonnet" I've ever seen! Armour yellow Warbonnets? What will they think of next?
Pretty impressive "throw together" in my opinion, great stuff Crandle Love that little critter, nice weathering job rangust. Good score Jeffery, I assume that it is HO Nice shot Mike. HEE,HEE. Here's my bit of photo fun, a pair of Athearn SD70 MAC's hauling black diamonds up from the lower level http://flickr.com/photos/29141803@N03/2723567159/
You assume correctly. I bought the set because it's made by Athearn. I'm more or less an Athearn magnet! That armour yellow (YUCK) is gonna bite the dust before this next week is out. No new photo at present but here's an old one you'll like.
SNFF 2008 08 02 Hi, all, great pictures as always. For me, the Santa Fe GP7B made an appearance at the local NMRA Coast Division Meet in June: More pictures of all the Coast Division meet models and Show and Tell photos can be seen at: Coast Division Model Contest and Show and Tell Web Pages Have a good week, all!
Hmmm, Maybe a - slap in the face - "patch" job to another road and then paint job for the road you really want? It is what I do with my UP equipment.
I'm trying to decide what cab to use for my E33-2 project. The E33R-2 will have the wide cab... trying to decide home chopped nose of EMD cab. Here's the options: Using stock nose, shortened and lowered: Using an EMD cab: (cab would not fit, I had to hold it in postion and shoot with the other hand) Using a GE wide cab:
Dummy me!:tb-embarrassed: I don't know what the heck I was thinking(Except in N-Scale). I hate when I do that! Sorry for my confusion, Wolf
How about a Warbonnet of the correct color? Sorry for the thumbnail. Railimages is down for maintenance.
