Anyone out there with a lathe?

I need to have a simple part turned out of brass.
Is there someone here that does custom lathe work or know of someone that does?

Look for a machine shop but be prepared to pay set up charges.

Some auto brake places have lathes to turn down rotors.

Or...take your part to the local high school shop teacher. Most of 'em have a lathe in the classroom.
