Now that I've decided to move my planned sawmill complex from a "bump" on the side of the layout to a more generous space inside a return loop, I'm seeking ideas on how to orient the buildings, a pond and log dump.

I have the Mountain Lumber Co. by Walthers. I've seen a few pics of that structure on layouts, but I'd like to see more. If anyone has some photos to post or point me to; I'd appreciate it.

there a book by Matt Coleman that accompanied the Walthers series called something like"Tall Tree's, trains and Lumber" has some superb prototype and model shots by one of the Danneman brothers and also shows how to incorporate it in to a model.

    Thanks, gentlemen...

Unfortunately; out of stock/print and selling for exhorbitant rates on Amazon. I'll check the library and LHS, but I don't recall seeing it.

There's one at abebooks.com for $60 I think Amazon at £110 is having a laugh.
