Hi when I decided to make the switch to US N scale over a year ago I swear I was following the story of a N scale layout set in California? and I was sure the thread was on this forum? Unfortunately I had an 12 month gap before I was able to take up modelling again, I have tried to find the thread plus I have searched a few other forums I know of but can't find it. The layout was being built by a gent who I think wasn't too well and was having to go in to hospital and that it was a modern-ish ATSF layout, thats all I can remember so does anyone know who or what I am talking about or am I just going mad in my old age??

Hello Shaun! I did have my back surgery, and it was very successful! I have recently returned to work, and work on the layout should pick back up as soon as I catch some bills up. Thank you for the interest! Jerry
Jerry glad to hear everything is OK and that you are doing well, I completley understand how it knocks you back as 2 1/2 yrs ago I had the fronts of my eyes cut away and replaced and it takes a while to get back in to things. Obviously your layout struck a chord as I remembered it. All the best Shaun
