I've noticed that Alan has not been very active on the boards as of late. Can't help but wonder if it's because he's working overtime on his next release! Boy, I sure would like it if the next release would carry the reporting marks of something along the lines of.....hmmmm....well....something like: T T R X! Russ [ 20. He posted earlier today. So is still around. I know he's been looking at more than just N projects. So he could be really busy right now on quite a variety of goodies! Boxcab E50
Yeah, I am still here That hint is not very subtle, Russ I am working on several upcoming projects, but am also very busy trying to keep up with orders. To further delay me we are intending to move house which is very time consuming
Hey, that should be easy. A steam derrick (hook), a depressed center flat and an unrestricted clearance. Where's it waybilled to?
Bam!! Well, maybe not TTRX, but certainly just as cool! Alan has done it again!! Check these out!! http://www.alancurtismodels.com/ Who would have ever guessed we would have had such a wide variety of killer intemodal equipment available in N scale?? Russ
these are VERY cool - as is anything that Alan produces. What year did they first appear on the rails in the 1:1 world? Dave
I would like to know as well, although I'm fairly certain the prototype to this is very, very, very recent (as in, you can't get any more modern than this! ). Russ
NO!!!!!! Alan, how can you do this to me!!??? Didn't you know I have to devote my time to the new layout? Next, I expect you're going to bring out Maxi I's, which is the Gunderson-made 40ft well re-do project. How am I going to keep up with all your new projects? Great job! These things are so new I haven't even seen any yet! By the way, which decals did you use? And is there any chance you might bring out a Maxi I? And any chance you could talk Microscale into BNSF decals? William
No kidding!! By the way, does anyone know of any links that show pics or have info on the prototype to these? If so, I would like to check them out and get some more info on these. Russ
And the words here (Scroll down the page a bit) Also some excellent detail shots of the conversion on David Casdorph's site here (pdf files)
