I have 2 KATO CN SD40-2's (#176-4953 and #176-4954). the goal is to turn them into something else and of course it is always easier to start with undec shells. So before I strip these units does anyone want to make a trade? Liek I said I'd prefer undecs (non ATSF/BNSF style) but if you really have a need for the CN ones maybe we can work something out. Thanks.
Would you be willing to sell the shells outright? As a CN fan I hate to see them go to the stripper. Now if it was UP yellow on the other hand .... <vbg>
Well, I don't have a problem selling them. However, I would need to get replacement shells and I believe KATO sells them for $32 apiece. Kinda high in my opinion to do this.
