    Really great photos.

You've captured may favourate part of the hobby by doing research into old buildings and recreating them on the layout. Many modellers are content with 'out of the box' structures, and that's ok, but your railroad has a unique charm and character that's very hard to beat. It's a real pleasure visiting.

    Thanks

    Thanks.....

Thanks Dave, for the complement. It means a lot to me coming from an accomplished G scale modeler like you. I’m grinning from ear to ear!

This work is just tremendous. I don't find a link back to your home page on the image pages. Did I miss something?

    Best!

    Completely unrelated, but not....

About three miles of the DAV&P right-of-way in Warren is now a bicycle trail, and I was out on it this beautiful fall afternoon. There's still traces of the Conewango oil refinery visible, a couple concrete whistle posts, the North Warren depot ("Train Station Restaurant") etc.

The real 'throw down' challenge would be the Warren, PA depot that was on 4th Ave. If you've ever seen a picture of it, that was a truly beautiful small frame depot, and quite unique.

There is a photo of it : The Dunkirk Allegheny Valley and Pittsburgh Model Railroad ( Prototype DAV&P Historical Items )

I'd like to see the concrete whistle posts. I have only found one near Dunkirk, its up in Gerry NY.

Thank to all who have responded!
