Whats on your lists???? I need lots of Atlas true track. also for Atlas to speed up more pieces (Radii curve sizes, Crossings, bridge track, different swithes.)
A Digitrax Zephyr DCC System and a Digitrax DT400R Throttle and 3 MRC Sound Decoders for my Kato F-7's
I'd like a German rail set. My Dads from Germany and I have memories of riding the trains over there as a kid. I think we're taking the kids over to Germany for a family reunion next summer, so I'll be putting out the call to any German members for suggestions, when the time comes. That and the time to work on my layout.
My kids being able to visit for Christmas (they live in Alaska, Oregon, and Maryland) . . . . but since I figure you were talking about trains, the 135 ft Diamond Scale auto indexing turntable would be cool
To win the lottery tonght...and be able to buy all the train stuff Ii want fro xmas without flinching or getting "The look" from 'THE Wife'. .
I'd also like to win the lottery, not to buy whole hobby shops at a time but so I could get what I want made without waiting years for Kato, Atlas, Walthers, Intermountain, Bachmann, etc. to decide its worth making. Alco and FM switchers, RSD15's, normal ATSF steam (ie; not Y3's).... the list goes on.
Oo. nice one Westfalen. I'll simply take the everything Kato offers in Amtrak phase 3 (with the F40PH not Genesis for the locos). Oh, almost forgot to put the sound decoders for them on the list too! Better add the LED light kits while I'm at it
I'd like a really nice basement with a house on top of it.....maybe after I retire.... For Christmas, I'd like Kato to announce that their next set of engines will be GEVO's... It could happen..... Otherwise a couple of MRC sound decoders would be nice, too. Brian
GEVO's would be sweet! I would pick some up in a second! Winning the lottery would be great, because then I could fund my hobby spending habits for years to come (I still have to share train costs with upgrading my telescope and modifying my Subaru). But that not happening in the future, I see a KATO Daylight set and some MAXI-IV's under the tree, with maybe new G scale loco if I'm allowed to treat myself.
My christmas wish is that manufacturers would actually release the stuff on the date they say they are so I can put it on my list instead of being months or years behind.
I'm getting a Y3 for Christmas because Walthers have fallen so far behind with the release dates. I'm also looking forward to my FP/F45's sometime around next Easter because of Athearn doing the same thing.
Two first class tickets on the American Orient Express and a replacement lens for the scratched one I'm having to use on my 20D right now. Neither of these will appear magically but just thought I'd throw them out there.
I would love for Santa to bring me a Artograph 1530 Spray System so I don't have to stand on the deck to use my airbrush. But, that is not going to happen this year. Maybe next year if I am lucky.
Wishlist.... On my wishlist is a little more hobby time to tackle all the projects that have accumulated over the years. And also to finish a few more buildings for my version of Tacoma. But it is probably not going to happen: I will leave again for 2 weeks business travel to the US this Sunday.... mad: Cheers Dirk
Other than the Lionel Polar Express Set? Time and energy. I would like more time and energy to get my basement done, so I can actually build a small little HCD set up and get things moving....
