Dose anyone have any information on a Rolls-Royce as a high rail inspection vehicle. I read that this short line rail road did. I do know that the Springs family still has a rolls that is from the 50s. I don't think this is the same one. If true that would be one nice high rail. John
I'm certain that Railfan & Railroad had an article on this operation. Seems like it was about ten years ago. So far, I cannot find that story. Does it sound familiar? Boxcab E50
If you're in Charlotte, call the railroad and ask when their museum will be open again. I'm trying to remember about a Rolls-Royce hi-rail vehicle and I think Eliott White Springs may have had one, but it's been some time since I paid that much attention when I was there in the museum.
