I got the AZL TTX Hi-cube 4-pack of the second set of road numbers, and I also got the new AZL NS Hi-cube 4-pack, along with the Ztrack Southern Pacific Tower in cast resin. I sure love my wife!! Merry Christmas all!!!
My wife and I "we-give-us-nothing agreement." :tb-nerd: Nevertheless, I have my sons of a voucher for Z-accessories to get Christmas. :tb-confused: I love my sons. That is both good guy. :tb-wink:
All I got was a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, and I had to buy that myself! Then today, I got this "head" from all the Irish Cream I consumed last night! Oh, well... :tb-biggrin: Regardless, I hope all here had a great holiday. Tim
Tim, you could share that Baileys Irish Cream with us. Nothing improves the eyesight then a little alcohol.
And it takes away the hand shakes when painting small detail! However, most of you guys have already seen what I got for Christmas this last week with my new kits and all. Self gifts. However, my wife suprised me with a Randy Brown school bus. Fun fun kit. I'll post pictures tomorrow. I think I'll have to order a few more of his vehicles and kits. John, you must have been crazy good this year to get that stuff! Is that Sante Fe Brass?
Yep, I wanted another GE. Joe, your one lucky dog. I have couple items from Randy Brown. His kits are excellent.

Gerd, your are not alone No Z or other Items for me except my 8 Year old son Collin gave me a handmade picture frame.
The younger kids are with their mom this Christmas, so I got a little free time to sit at the bench and work on some models. Had dinner with my older sons and their families, time with one of my grand daughters (2)...and a night without any laundry! Who could ask for more! Oh, yes, got some nice non RR presents and a killer bottle of wine and a beautiful white Christmas here in Oregon. Merry Christmas Joe MTL
I didn't get any z for Christmas, but I did get a decent amount of spending money, so I went on a small online shopping spree today. The damage so far: 1 undec MTL GP35 3 MTL 50' plug door boxcars w/o roofwalks 1 MTL 60' Bulkhead flatcar 1 MTL 50' Ribside boxcar w/o roofwalk 2 E&D Models 3 Bay hoppers A set of AZL trucks/couplers All will be repainted MRL after I finish my current MRL repaint projects (a GP9, a couple of E&D 2 bay hoppers, 4 Pennzee hoppers and assorted Micro-Trains stuff) I'm considering the brass etching kit from Micro-Mark. Anyone with experience with this kit? Other alternatives I should consider?
No Z either, but something very useful. My wife surprised me with a MacBook Pro. I'm already having more fun with this little toy than I deserve... Lajos :0)
Here is that School bus from Randy Brown I got for Christmas. I still need to get that micro sol or whatever it is to make the decals stick. Pretty cool looking really
I finally got done with the 73' Thrall Quad Truss Centerbeams in Plum Creek. These are my Christmas Present to myself! Remember the rules... If nobody sells it, you have to make it yourself! Again... Need trucks!
Very Nice, Robert. The fine web work on the trusses amazes me. I would have broken them five times before I ever got the car assembled. I'm assuming that they are wood just based on how thin it looks, and how rigid it appears to be. Nice work. Dan S.
