My loving wife got me the Kato Daylight set to go with my GS-4 today for my birthday. I can't wait to get home and try it out on the layout. They really did a great job on this train.
Your wife needs to talk to my wife. I have never been able to convince her to get me model rail road stuff.
My wife used to consult one of the guys who worked at a local hobby store. He always remembered what I had been drooling over at that time so was able to make good suggestions. However he left there and went to work for Digitrax. Now I have to develop another "informant" to pass on hints.
That is why I like my gig. Christmas, or Birthdays, the wife just says, "Go get your present..." Never disapointed... hehheh..
Sounds like you have an awesome wife. Don't forget about the Kinematic close-coupling coupler set for your Daylight train. It's definitely worth the 10 bucks.
