Could always cobble together some single axle flat cars with seats and make a backyard railrood...and put it in a park on your layout...add a "Free Train Rides" sign. Ya just cant see the forest for the trees....LOL
Yeah but it has connector! what a bargan only 12 bucks. That old c-420 is up to 81 bucks with 25 bids somebody is going to be mad!

Noticed it sold for $87 with I think 27 bids. The only reason I can think of that somebody would buy that would be for the supposed installed decoder to remove and throw the loco in the trashcan. This, along with some other things I have seen though, does prove that old P.T. Barnum was absolutely right.
I think this takes the cake. I mean come on. For $500 I can buy a whole slew of GHQs. Although not the same model, but still its a CAT dozer. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EXTREMELY-R...st_Vehicles&hash=item258006099d#ht_462wt_1328
This is the definition of overkill. Granted, the model is one of a kind and I don't doubt the workmanship and hours that go into it. But...sitting on a layout all that will go for naught. An off the shelf model at a fraction of the cost will meet the need nicely and wouldn't be that hard to weather. My question would be - is the hobby model railroading or model dozers? For $500, I can model a great looking Empire Builder.......
Notice it is not for sale. He's using it as bait, apparently trolling for business of making or selling other examples. Probably why the price is that high, to discourage bidders.
Not for sale, but there are 2 people watching it. Wonder what would happen if someone clicked on the "Buy Now" button. Payment method is via Pay Pal. Gary
Interesting question. I have a feeling it would result in a very odd situation. What surprises me is this is allowed under rules of that site.
I noticed the "Make an Offer" which could mean he put a high price on it to get to the top of "Price: Highest First" searches. One of these days, I'm going to list an original eight Kadee Blue Label boxcar for about $52,000 just to see the comments I get. Of course, I'd give free shipping for that price. I'd also add a "Make an Offer" button and put in the description, "Any offer over $35 will be considered."
The guy with the Cat dozer is absolutely correct. It would DEFINITELY start a conversation... with the GF !!! :teeth:
I have wondered if I could ever afford anything from Pecos River Brass. Maybe some people would buy anything from Pecos River Brass. But I think I will pass on this one, even though it is only ten bucks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pecos-River-Brass-Coin-Purse-/251305438535 Oh well, it is not N scale.
If he puts the item up for sale, as he has done, I would think that he would have to abide by the ebay rules and have to ship the item once it is paid for, regardless if he said it wasn't for sale in the details below.
Sometimes, I wonder if they just get the currency wrong: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOMIX-2222-...l_RR_Trains&hash=item232903298c#ht_269wt_1162 I have a DD51 which I bought 30 years ago in Japan. Maybe it's rare enough to go for that sorta coin.
