It is a cool lookin' engine, but for that price, I better be able to ride it !!! I have noticed that stuff like that seems to be Damned expensive !!! Take a stroll through the "N scale Vehicle" listings. I can barely afford to READ about some of that stuff !!!

"Atlas Gauge" (their description, not mine) ready to run train set. Except it comes with a Bachmann locomotive (price tag says $9.99 from Kaybee), what I can only assume is a junk transformer (there's a picture of an old Atlas box labeled 'transformer'), and several pieces of flex track. How is this ready to run? And all for only $500 (I dislike anyone selling junk as a ready to run train set more than just about anything):

If that Crescent Limited is 1:24 scale, that's a pretty big coffee cup hanging behind it !!!

There is the Atlas N set, but no photo of what's in the box. I'll give them a break for starting up the learning curve. Consign With Us is likely pricing what they were told to by owners. Notice the ZERO feedback.

Certainly a cup for when you have a morning where "nuke it from orbit" is a motto to live by.

Did anyone else notice the $500 price tag on the set box?
Without a photo of what is in the box, this is a tough sell regardless of the price (which is way over what it is all worth).

I still have a box just like that from the set I got in 1968. It had a Rivarossi E-8, four Rivarossi heavyweight passenger cars (baggage/coach combine, diner, 12-1 sleeper and the observation car). I forget if it came with track and a power supply.
