I was wondering about the metal finish on those cars. It looks like chrome. Then, the CZ started after the E7 was released and E5s were never regular power for the train. Also, the CB&Q never had E7Bs . . . .

You know, I'm going to stop knocking this. Dude put together something on his own before anything commercial was available so I'm going to commend him for that.

In looking at his other stuff, the workmanship and painting are very poor. I am being critical, but he is trying to sell this stuff and I am commenting.

Good point. He nailed the "A" for effort but as for execution . . . . Since I studied soldering at the "Bigger the Blob, the Better the Job" school of soldering, I will critique only because he is selling it.

I think he is making these out of clay. Next there will be Gumby driving.

While he did put some effort into it all, the item brands used are for lack of better word, outdated. And did I also see some Rapido couplers?

Methinks the Micro-Trains collector fever may be waning.

What really bothers me is the buying public sees these way out of lines prices, and thinks to themselves 'I can't afford this hobby!'

The gas station looks like it has been left in the sun for a while.

Look at the number of declined offers.

Since dollar amounts are not listed, I can't tell if the offers are being low-balled, or the seller really is clueless about the value of what they are vending.

This is where eBay listing the dollar amounts will be helpful to potential buyers.

Even worse, is that valuation guides use those prices, when listing the value of the item in their publications.

Unfortunately, thus compounding the problem.... How many have we in this hobby lost to a perception of very great expense?

Which is especially sad since I've found this to be a period of relative low cost in model railroading.

I think he does and is hoping some person doesn't. Look at the number of declined offers for the Atlas loco that date back for 2 years.

Fishing some boys just love to go fishing. Troll long enough and you might catch a sucker...err...fish.

I do hope you guys jump right on this. After all it isn't every day you get to pay these kinds of prices for "Junk".

I hate to admit it but I got burned on e-pay and it's my own dammed fault. All I saw was a paint job and forgot, no one has put out that paint scheme in years. As I've said before, "Let the buyer beware".

I hate it when I do that... to myself, by myself. Sheez!

Now you can laugh at me but hear me when I'm laughing at myself. DS!

How do you check the number of declines?
