Nice. I like seeing the ICG units. Very cool paint on those.

Do you have a trackplan I could see?

Wow, that is a large layout you are building! 3 decks, 17 feet long sidings... Very impressive. It also appears theat you have spend a lot of thought on the operations you will run.

Thanks for sharing, good luck with the construction progress!

    Cheers

    Gentlemen
There is a track plan on that site all you have to do is go back to the older posts its at the very beginning.I have been working on this for 27 years.I use to hang around the depot here in Sparta,Illinois from the time I was 18 in 1981 to the day it closed in July of 1985 I read every piece of paper it had in its record room and did some other investigating and actually found an old blue print book from 1940 from the track engineers papers which is what all my track plan is based on with up to date track from that time period.there was on average in its hay day 11 trains a day and I added some to make the layout have as of now 19 trains.I'm trying to get around 25 trains for an operating session.this area use to be coal train country between the ICG and the Missouri Pacific there was 10-15 coal trains a week.the mainline run will be right at 530 feet with staging yards.hope to have the 3rd level finished by the end of March so I hope I can get it to that point.Well I wore everyone out for now I hope to have some more progress by this weekend.
    Thanks Blane
