any tank cars, addional passenger cars (heavyweights would be nice too), autoracks, old gondolas and box cars. Switchers, U30 or 32's, STEAM that pulls, etc. Plus some accessories like quality cross buck, both lighted and unlighted, construction equipment, cars, etc. We're missing a lot of the details.

Loren, If a new caboose is coming from MTL it will probably be the baywindow flat top one they released in N. Will this company never learn, never hear? This no cupola caboose had a working life a about twenty years. A little nichey for me. Why not invest in the caboose everbody wants. The western style that had a life span of over 100 years. It is bad enough we had to suffer with this dumb eastern center thing all these years. Frustrated, Jim CCRR

Bay window cabeese go back to the 1940s. I think it's important to remember, just because we do something you don't like or don't need doesn't mean we don't listen or learn. To be honest, the number one request we had for a caboose style in the past has always been the Bay Window hands down.

Hey Joe, Sorry, this was a test. Now we know that it will be a baywindow. Me, no thanks, I model the 1930's. sigh. Just another reason to buy Marklin. Check this out: "This Bay Window Caboose was a common site on many of the railroads throughout North America from the 1970's to the late 1980's. Over 28 railroads made initial orders for these with various window combinations, and many went on to serve on short lines and industrial railroads." This insert is from your company's description of the baywindow caboose. It doesn't sound like 1940 to me. Why not produce a caboose with 100 years of running through the eras instead of 20 year slot? Remember that these same folks that want a baywindow model are the same ones who bought the gp35. Fine, even they would be happier with a western than the eastern thingy. I'm still saying the baywindow is a niche item and you will sell a bunch. Cheers, Jim CCRR

    Jimmy ! ! ! !

Some Eastern RR's like the PRR cabooses had cupulas and NYC ran the Baywindow variety,

I think if Steam was more availble then an older style caboose would work, but the majority of stuff being produced these days is post 1960 probably for that same reason. And, a Bay Window isn't a slam dunk...I have designs on the ways and won't show my hand just quite yet )....be careful what you wish for. :eek:P

    Joe,

I appriciate what ever you and MTL produce. I realize there is so much demand that needs to be fulfilled. After all those needs are met, then there would be an opportunity for other requests. Everybody wants their own specific & special railroads represented, but MTL need to fulfill where the greatest demand and profit lie.
My preference are the older railroads before all the mergers. So, when I see a PRR, NYC, WM, LV, Erie, Lakawana and other Eastern RRs, I spend my money at Loren's Train & Pie Shop. If I were asked about short or bridge lines I would like Delaware & Hudson, Lehigh & New England and maybe some others from around Eastern PA, NY and NJ.

Atleast if you come out with a bay window style, I can scribe lines in the side, and make it a
    Milwaukee Road "ribside"!
