So I go into the garage the other night, after several nights of finding trains on the floor, trees eaten and tore up, paper moved around, and I find this little female. Mystery solved.
Glad to see you've been able to meet a new lady. Are you going to put it in a cage and feed it old bachman and life like cars.
She's cute, hope you find her nest, made out of your scenery, before she becomes an OctoMom. :tb-tongue:
What impresses me most is that you got her to POSE on your arm long enough to get the picture!! Aside from the baby squirrel I had as a kid, I've never been able to touch a wild squirrel.... they always run away! Darrell, quiet...for now
No cooking this squirrel, despite wanting to the first time I saw a damaged freight car on the floor! It has become the new family pet. LOL
Soooo CUTE, I know if I show this to Tina she will want one for a pet. Just hope no lasting damage was done to your trains. She would have sared the witts out of the N scale locals "Ahh... Rodenticus Gigantium, run for your lives". Nice pic Jerry, thanks for sharing.:thumbs_up::thumbs_up:
Your new squirrel affection at least has a legitimate prototype: Yes, the other unit is named "Bullwinkle!" Beware, however. In areas where I've seen lots of squirrels, I've always seen track damage on the prototype. Joint bars. Yup, missing nuts.
Cute, schmute, that ##$@#$ squirrel is making a mess of your beautiful layout. My exwife has a big brave exneighbor in Ashby, Mass, who gathers up his shotgun every fall and goes squirrel hunting. Big brave guy. But if that little critter either gets rabies or bites your family members, you are SOL, if you get my drift. I had a bunch of squirrels in my back yard in my Boca house, and I found they were looting my bird feeder, and multiplying faster than hamsters. Out goes the bird feeder. I even had problems with them stealing mangoes off my fruit trees, leaving a gushy mess on my yard. Ken "FloridaBoy" Willaman
Aha - we've discovered your secret to distressed beet gons: load 'em up with celery seed, leave the door open, and the rest will take care of itself. Clever! -gfh
