I have a fleishmann 0-6-0 tender driven steamer. There was one screw holding the front end of the tender to engine, and sorta held the front end if the tender cover. Yet the back end wont budge, and I dont want to force or break it.
Any thoughts as how I get this off? I need to look at the motor.
Pictures or advice whatever you may have.

    Thank you.

That can only be the BR 53. You might try putting a dap of oil to the screw and let it saturate for awhile. I can only imagine that it has rusted itself to the tender chassis. Is it the philips screw or the straight head screw? A pic would be nice if you could post one.

    No No

No No, I got the screw off easy, its the end close to the coupler that wont budge.

I am not near any of my locos, but look for a lip under the end near the coupler. As I remember the end with the screw lifts up and there is a lip with an insert at the coupler end. It was hard to get up the first time, but after it was loose, it was easy.

    Sorry for the poor description.

    Hi!

You have to unscrew the two little "bumpers" at the rear end that hold this side of the tender cover. Don't try to force it like Pete suggested.
You can find the data sheets of almost all european branded locos on this page but unfortunately it is only in german: mtkb

I hope this will get you back on track.
