One of the few things that Walthers had on their table was a prototype and an announcement for a PS 64-seat coach as following the baggage car. Technically it was announced at the show, that is the "just" announced part.

    Wow.... thanks for the report!

I'm still puzzled why NO one seems willing to come out with a 65' LPG tank car. The Atlas 33K cars are ok but we need the more modern style also. Can someone PLEASE do them???

    Thanks for the info.
Looking forward to next year's convention, which will be here in my backyard.

For those of you planning to attend, we just went thru 7 straight days of 100-104 degree weather. ;)

It's not the tempeature. The 80+% humidity is what causes challenges when combined with that heat.

I'm waiting for Wheels of Time to anounce an RTS bus. Man I would get so many!

Not too much anounced... I like that Athearn is updating the F59s. It looks like they are starting to get into the "upgraded tooling" thing. Hopefully they will update the THrall gondolas with seperate ladders next.

The Walthers Coach is a PS coach going to be offered in the 12 roadnames that are available in the baggage and sleeper. It will have either corrugated or smooth sides similar to the 10-6 sleeper that is already offered. I know that the Walthers guys were not even told that they were going to release this item until they found the preproduction sample waiting for them at the show.

I am interested in Athearn's woodchip extensions for the 40' hoppers.
