I finished a few samples from Willmodel today. The blue car is an 84 Ford Escort and the red truck is a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both models are solid resin castings like a Lineside Models vehicle kit. The detail is very good, about as nice as a GHQ model. Windshield wipers and side view mirrors are molded in place. The masters were not hand carved like other resin cars out there. The details are straight and true. When you attach the wheels, all four of them touch the ground without the "seesaw" you get with other resin manufacturer kits. Sorry for the poor pictures. Much of my photography equipment was stolen. Silver VW Golf is a Wiking model for size comparison. Willmodel is about as good as you will find in resin casting. They offer several original kits as well as castings based on select Johnny Lightening monopoly tokens. Here is a partial listing: 84 Ford Escort 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee Honda Accord (JL says it's a '94) Camaros '69, '77 and '82 '65 Mustang '74 Hornet '71 Plymouth Duster (no wing on trunk) '71 Plymouth Roadrunner (a little small, but not bad) '55 Chevy Cameo Pickup '55 Chevy Truck Chassis '78 Dodge Truck Chassis '55 Chevy Nomad Utility Body Conversion
Do they have a Web Site? Oops I see DrifterNL asked the same question:tb-mad:
I looked for Will's website but can't find it, here is his Ebay name though, jimmowill. I purchased several of the dodge truck chassis and the utitlity beds for them along with several other cars from him, as Daniel said, extremely nice castings and detail. I purchased mine from him on Ebay. When I got mine he said he had many more in the works!
I just looked on eBay and couldn't find anything listed for "jimmowill". I did find a lot of vehicles listed by "nscaleautos" and they look pretty good in the pictures. John
willmodels Response Hey guys (and girls), I currently do not have any listings on eBay, however if you contact me via email: (willmodels@gmail.com) I will send you a list of what I have available. Because of my other work, I have not had time to devote to developing a website or new products in my vehicle division but I do have several items scheduled for the future. Your input is welcome. Thanks for your interest, Jimmo Will willmodels
I got couple of builds from him ,very nicely done and very good deal. Any chance for other buildings ? Rick
What surprises me is that no one has ever made an '80s mustang. I can drive to town and see a dozen or more along the way.
I have two large pdf files (two woo woo woo and one woo woo woo) with James Will's products. He has both structures and vehicles. Please send me a PM with your email address and I will send them to you. Then, if you know how to post them here, we will all like you.
LOL I just realized something. You and I are gonna be practically neighbors in about a week. I am moving to Newbury Park.
