I started a new layout in March. It is a 8x10 based on modern operations of CSX. I have made a great deal of progress including 80% of initial scenery. The layout is fully operational. I will have an open house some time in August. All Trainboard members are invited. I would like some feedback as to what nights or weekend days fit everyones schedule best and then I will make a decision on a date. Again, everyone is welcome to stop buy and talk trains. I'm about 40 miles away in Pickens County. Any day is good for me right now. Been on short term disability for 6 weeks. Boredom has set in! Bob
Wow. That is quick. I must be really slow. I have been working since December on a 5x7 and am just getting to the scenery stage. I can make the long, long trip up from Rock Hill.:tb-biggrin: Weekends are best. Either day.
Guys I am 170 miles from Knoxville. You SC guys are close. Rocky Mount is a ways off. I was actually in Wilson NC a few weeks ago and it was 300 miles. Jeff
