I've looked every were I can think of any pics. Might need about 2 dozen Volvo's just for the chassis and containers.
Something like this: Maybe without the sleeper ? Here's that modern tractor that we have been asking for ! I think that the N Scale Intermodal Store will be selling these 'a la carte' - so check there, once they are delivered, if you only need chassis.
Whoa, A modern truck tractor, a yard tractor AND an adjustable container chassis? This is pretty big news..
Wow. Good news all around. I'll need at least a dozen of those Volve trucks, they should go well with the DI trailers. I hope they come in different colors.
That looks like either a 2006 or 2007 model, I do not keep up with class 8 anymore. Steve, I guess I am in deep dodo. Bob.
I guess that Volvo was more receptive to making a model than Freightliner who holds the greatest number of sales. Bob.
Bob, You and I both. We have been needing a modern tractor. Those container chassis will be great and we'll all need a 'boat' load of them. Steve
Oh my goodness I will need to put in my order for CSX Sd70ACe's and the NSES40DC GEVO series. I'm right now creating my Clinchcross area on my bedroom area so I will have the room ready for these beautiful locomotives.
Thank god they didn't announce a BNSF model. my wallet would have gone into cardiac arrest.:tb-wacky:
Excellent! I was about to strip some BNSF containers and redo as CSX; now I'll keep the BNSF and buy the CSX intermodal stuff. Jamie
The Volvo and yard engines are nice additions - they represent the very first peices of Kato rolling stock not taken out of the Deluxe Innovations catalog. I was beginning to wonder if they've got something personal against DI...
This could be trouble. Along with Volvo trucks & I'm pulling my hair out! I wonder why they didn't announce this at Portland?
Anybody know what logo is on these CSX containers? I hope it's the new one of the boxcar like in CSXDixieLine's signature.
Or even Hartford. Can't wait to see how well they pulled of the adjustable chassis. We were designing a yard tractor so that might be a waste of time now. I wonder which version of 40' container they are doing, we already have 3. Dave Ferrari
