Dave; WOW, wonderful e-mag...it's pleasing to see what's going on in the other Hemi-...have enjoyed and marveled at your countrymen's skills, and similarities/differences in our countries rail systems through your previous posts. I'll be watching for input from you and your associates as you have time. Best of fortune in this e-pub exercise. Thanks, again. Bob C.

omg David, I went looking for aussie nscale engines and all the prices are like 260$ for an engine!! 99% of stuff seemed to be HO as well... is n scale not huge back home?

An interesting observation. In the Ipswich club all the Australian modellers are HO, the N scalers all model US, British or Japanese.

It's small but growing as a few manufacturers take the plunge with RTR. $260 is also about average for RTR HO diesels from Austrains, Trainorama, etc.

The overall market is much smaller here. Remember Australia has a total population of only 21 million.

The EL looks great, David. Can I assume it will be at the convention?

Was going to have a look at the mag as it sounds interesting.

I guess a lot of other people had the same idea.

I got the same error, looks like you are going to have to upgrade your server account.

I noticed the only QR item in the mag, a 'KKG horse/guard van'? It should be KKB, and while they may have occasionally loaded horses and there were published freight rates, they were far and above primarily for cattle, with the second compartment for the drover to accompany and tend to his charges enroute.

    That aside, good magazine.

Thanks for the feedback. It is also pleasing that issue 3 has two contributors from outside Australia.

David, awesome, a very nice publication, thank you.
I'm always amazed at the quality of the modeling our Aussie friends produce, and also the apparent interest in US roads. I have quite a few Santa Fe friends, all excellent modelers, or I shoud say modellers, in the land of Oz.
Best of luck and keep it coming!
    Regards, Otto
