I finally got around to creating a new video of my subway system. I added music to this one, too. The previous one was done with a lot of unfinished scenery, so this should be more fun to watch.

Fantastic! I worked in the New York / New Jersey area some years back which meant a lot of time on the PATH train and the NYC subway. You have captured it wonderfully. I particularly liked the tunnel detail (cables on the side), station lighting and the scenes where another train can be seen. Great job!

Lovely, just as I remember the IRT Broadway/7th Ave. line when I was in college 55 years ago. The only thing I miss seeing are the blue flashes at the third rail breaks.....:tb-tongue:

Where, on the A Train, is Penny Lane? Now, 110th, 116th, 125th....

    Very cool :)

Well, it's Modeler's License. Penny is my wife. The other station, Saint Anne Street, is named after my daughter.

Yes, it's fun to watch. Thank you.
A great idea to model the subway. And the stations are well build and illuminated as well as the tunnels.

The rails are all welded now and there is no click-clack.
The system rarely has derailments due to track failure. Wheels are periodically rounded with a lathe to eliminate flat spots.

The cars you went on are in the transit museum now! They had amber color rattan seats and leather hold straps, with perhaps a vestibule on either end of the cars.

I ways enjoy the BMT because it goes out to Coney Island on an EL and you get a great view.

That is absolutely fantastic! I agree about the tunnel detail, especially the cables. Awesome!
