    Even Atlas doesn't know.
They are not able to get a container shipping date from China.
    See their on-line schedule.

I have a novel idea. Why not build some of this stuff here in the USA????? I can't believe that with all of the fabrication capacity we have let alone the skills available that the costs would be too much to be profitable.

Here's a quote from Atlas' Cory - from Atlas' N Scale Forum:

I unfortunately do not have a definitive answer for you guys. Trust me, as soon as I receive one, I'll forward it along.

I don't need the switches - but the new rerailers are with them - wherever they may be - and without rerailers construction is gonna come to a halt.

I agree that some of this stuff can be made here in the US. There are too many folks out of work that could bennift form jobs being formed here to make stuff that is made over seas. And it could be made and sold here for about the same as you would knock out all the import and shipping fees.

Are we still standing by on these

The Atlas Customer service department told me they shipped some of the new code 55 curved turnouts in limmited supply. I can't seem to find them though. Has anyone received the new curved code 55 turnouts yet?

They show them, but they also say they are not in stock.

M.B. woo woo woo has a left, the right is out of stock. But if woo woo woo got them, the Atlas online store probably has availability - unless they didn't bring many in. Granted, you'll pay list at Atlas, but if you HAVE to have them...I can't speak for other etailers, I trust woo woo woo.

I bought a right and left from woo woo woo woo woo woo. I am eagerly awaiting their arrival. Although I use Peco track I wanted to see how the Atlas turnouts compare and if they can be used in select locations.

I am really surprised that there hasn't been more chatter about these now that they have finally arrived. Did everyone burnout from waiting and make their own? Jamie

HAHAHA! I hear ya. I would have gone elsewhere by now except I still haven't got around to laying track in the area where I need the curved turnouts. Jamie

Thanks everyone ,I was waiting to finish my track for these and like everyone else it ended up being a year so I picked up some peco ones .
There is a big difference between the two.
Laying track is my biggest problem so I lost some interest in Model RR at the moment because of the many frustrations ,most of my own fault.
I guess the wait has not been all that bad for this reason.

I have 2 of each on the way. Hopefully they arrive tomorrow in time for the weekend. I started a new layout a couple of months ago, but haven't laid an inch of track yet. Planning to use them to extend the length of my yard and the siding leading into it.

Now I will just have to get off my rear and lay some track. :tb-biggrin:

    A reliable source tells me

They have released a minimal quantity to see what type of problems may occur when in the hands of the hobbyist before filling the pipeline.

I did just that I made ten 14-16R from Fastrax and they work great I running my Athern challenger over them.---the first 10 where a little spendy but now I can build them for the price of 2 pieces of C55 and a bag of PC ties $15 and the nice part is that you can fix them if they break Good Luck AlanC.
