We have had a many great topics lately all in the line of “ Show us your ___________ . “ I think it might be a nice idea to start forum for Videos of model trains. I have really enjoyed seeing other modelers videos of there layouts and trains. If still pixs are worth 1,000 words then videos are worth even more.

So here is my contribute to “Show Me your layout Videos”. I’m referring to my post in the G scale forum because many may have not seen it, because they don’t frequent the G scale section.

Sorry could not link the thred

The Dunkirk Alleghany Valley and Pittsburgh model railroad Invites you to fallow Train No. 7 as she travels South from Dunkirk To falconer NY. This model railroad was closely model after a now defunct short line by the same name. The model railroad closely models many of the prototype DAV&P’s main buildings and special seen’s that made this little railroad unique. We will pass threw 5 small towns and over 6 bridges. See all the double header action as our train leaves Fredonia with a helper on the point and tackles the steep grade between Laona and Cassadaga NY. Make sure you see all 6 parts of this fantastic trip!

Here are a few I did during the early construction. FYI all of this track is coming up and getting redone as I switch eras (even though CSX equipment will still run during "modern" ops sessions).

A bit of before and after. This was an early video, back when the Penny Lane station was just a couple of bare platforms. The camera was mounted (slightly tilted) in a gondola.

Here is a more recent video of the same subject. I spent some more time with production, too, so it's cleaner and has sound added:

I like to mix things up now and then to have "what if..." set-up. Like this little number I posted on YouTube a few months back...
