Here is a shot of the Santa Fe side of the Rosenberg Union Depot on my Ntrak module taken at the OKC Train Show last weekend.
Thank. It was a sample kit from S&R models that I rounded off the front corners on. I made my own decals on an inkjet printer.
Grampy, nice shot! Your rails look like they have been gleamed, too. I don't have any new image developments, so I return this week to the same scene as last week and put up two Warbonnet SD75M's missing some details still.
Thanks very much, Mark. Sometimes ya gotta go with what comes natcheral. I love the Warbonnet scheme, and somehow the Genesis version just got under my skin. It's the same way with my hodge-podge of two and three different steamers from five different roads. I can't make up my mind! :tb-hissyfit:
Thanks, Crandell, John, and Greg. I just use 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper. That's a very nice dramatic shot, esp the angle. DJ.
Nice pics guys. Especially the one with the SF coal train. I`m working on some paintings for the backgrounds and would like to show you a prewiew. I will create the scenery until the end of this year. Stefan Railfan`s Homepage
I'm busy with my H0n3 Fiddletown: And I've made and uploaded another video. [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idzUiKiEXZI"]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia] Wolfgang
Nice video and some great shots this week as usual. Wow Stefan those backdrops look great. Here's my shot this week: SD40-2 #3093 & U30C #3326 roll east along the Arkansas River with a pig train. These are the first two units that I detailed and painted for MOP. More to follow (soon I hope).
Stefan, well done on your backdrop!! Very nice work there! I can tell you didn't paint that in a day.
Thank you Crandell, you don`t know how right you are :tb-biggrin: I had to do a lot of exercise bevore I`ve painted the backgrounds. But it was it worth. Stefan http://www.hdsrr.ch
I've been working on my GP20D project. I got the side handrails added and I put on a brass roof that should make the rear overhang a bit stiffer than styrene.
