I just joined the site today and thought I'd say hello to everyone. I'm 17 years old and a junior in highschool. I started model railroading when I was 13 but I have loved trains my whole life. I am currently building a 36"x83" N scale layout based in the Midwest during early fall. I mainly model present day BNSF but I like to model modern NS as well. I am an avid railfaner and I take a lot of pictures, mainly of the trains along the NS Chicago Line and Marion Branch in northern Indiana. Weathering and scratchbuilding is what I enjoy most about this hobby, but scenery is a close runner up. I hope to have a great time here and hope to get to know many fellow modelers. Here are a few pictures of my layout and some of my projects I've done: Scratch built grain elevator Some of my weathering I handcarve all my rocks.
