aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn. *rubs eyes* I'm baaaaaack.

I feel like Rip Van Winkle. Nine months (to the day) since my last post  Too much golf and playing with cars in between my house husband duties. ;)

Well I'm pleased to report that there has been absolutely no progress apart from some minor repairs to the track work to sort out a few niggles. So, no scenery yet. [IMG]

It's running well and I have a pair of SP SD40s pulling a train around as I type this. I must say that they were a bit reluctant to move initially - that happens when things sit idle for a while. Mrs JBT hasn't even nagged me about not doing much with the layout or the trains lately even though it sits in a corner of the living area. I haven't even visited the trainboard  , so please don't think of me as an ignorant barsteward for not responding to your enquiries.

I almost went over to UP_Phil's place a few weeks ago when he had a week day off, but we had a train strike (how ironical) that day and I couldn't even get out of the suburb such was the road chaos. We have to try again soon - at least he's done lots of things and I need to see his truly inspirational craft work.

I have a few car club things to attend to over the next month and then it will be time to get stuck in again and start making this layout look like someone or something lives there.

In the meantime, I'll be here to throw in some comments and get back into training. :D
