    The pulling ability could be partly down to the low gearing, it's the only thing I have from Kato that doesn't do 400mph at 6 volts. It's running at full speed in the video.

    Those are VERY close to some prototypes Boston uses:

    I think you mean the HO scale IHC from Mehano?
    They are very rare now, I have the Muni version. The motor quality alright and the interior lighting is a joke...more like an x-ray machine~

    I saw the post regarding this release on another list and I can't wait to see these. I'm ready to get a couple of sets of these. Very exciting news. I have been trolling around the web looking for release information (when, how much, etc.) but can't find anything. Any suggestions?

    I know that one of the Trainboard advertisers (and my favorite online Hobby shop) is listing them as a special order. Try on that store's "News Page" with a listing date of Jan 26 for info. You can also order them from Japan. I personally have had excellent service from both Plaza Japan in Osaka and Hobby Search in Tokyo. They are in stock at Hobby Search.
