I enjoy a good video, especially one that's smooth and steady. From Lombard up to tunnel 9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU_FG7Xe5HA&feature=related
Interesting to note the viewer comments posted. As I recall it, an MRL work train rammed that bridge section. Which caused the mentioned fatality. Thereafter, it was removed. Boxcab E50
Made my first trip to Lombard and East last summer. Video sure brings along good memories. I suggest biking or walking up to tunnel 9 though. It really isn't that far. Still some ties in the ground.
Yeah, hear ya. Unable to upload my pics here due to software issues. Posting them elsewhere online. Will let you know. Over 4000 to post.
And I thought I took a lot of photos in all of WA and MT over the MILW. Still nowhere near 1000 in all those route miles. Would love to see any photos you can post!
Yeah, spose pics of eagles nest trestle from underneath (streamside) are a bit over the top for posting. I'll try to trim that number to a more reasonable level eh? Kinda some cool ones of that trestle from the nearby cliffs and mountainsides though - a perspective not seen a lot I rekon. I'll see what I can do. BTW, didn't see a lot of buzzworms.
