This is really fantastic stuff! Forgive me if I shamelessly rip off your style:thumbs_up:

 

Where does one acquire a "Track Mobile" and is it powered?

I showed my girlfriend your pictures and said "It's amazing that all of that would fit in a computer desk" and she got really confused and I said it's like the trains I have, only far cooler.

 

I know nothing of these guys but they have an HO one for sale and they have a cool little video of it in action $109.00

The FDT models are quite nice, but could stand to have the front dummy coupler replaced with a live coupler. Takes some work though. A tad finiky on power pickup as well, might stand to have a bit more weightr tyo help that issue, but they are great pullers (better pushers by 1/2 a car) for having what is essentially an oversized Handcar motor in them.

If you want to put lights on it though, go the DC route and wire in the decoder by hand, much easier.
