I'm trying to put a layout on some draft paper (4 squares per inch). My mind is drawing a blank right now and I can't figure out how to draw a wall that's 21 inches long. in this scale. I am trying to see if i can fit a loop in a 20 inch wide space. Should be easy i know! Thanks

Given N is 1:160, divide by 160 to get scale dimensions.

160 Feet Real Life = 1 Foot in Scale

sorry didn't clarify enough sorry...im using a 1 inch = 1 foot scale. So using that scale...how many inches in scale is 20 inches. (if 2inchs = 24 inches)...

    4 squares = 1 inch
    1 inch = 1 foot
Each square = 1/4 foot (or 3 inches)
    For 21 inches... 21 inches/3 inches = 7 squares

If you just remember that each square = 3 inches, it should make it a lot easier. :)
