Sssssaaaaawwwwweeeeeet!!!!!! Good to hear you landed something. Hopefully its all you hoped besides a paycheck which was likely the #1 priority. :mcool::mcool::thumbs_up::thumbs_up:
My position is an entry-level transportation position with a terminal switching railroad that is responsible for the operation of locomotives moving raw materials, finished products, and empty railcars. I'll get more scoop the first day. It's a start and it's a job.
Hey, in these times nearly any job is a victory. Sounds good. Rail work can be very rewarding if you stick with it. Congratulations, again.
Not only is it a start it could be the ultimate job. I have been in my entry level position for 25 years and plan on another 10-15 years. The pay was very poor to start but since has increased to the point where I am able to enjoy some of the finer things in life. Sounds like a dream job for several of your fellow trainboard members. Congrats again. Scott
Well a real hearty Congrats is in order here then. I guess 56 isn't too old to start with the Railroad :thumbs_up: Can't wait to hear the update now
