I would like to feature SimRacin14 this week. He's got lots of new shots of wonderful old rolling stock pieces in RailImages. Here are a few.

Hey! I know those cars! They belong to the Bluegrass Railroad Museum!

    Cool!

And if I'm not mistaken, that's Young's High Bridge. Very nice!

(Just happy I can finally recognize something from one of these shots!)

Yep! Got to go down there and photograph the equipment. Kinda sad seeing the stuff at Tyrone with stuff growing over everything, but hopefully at some point they'll see use again.

Thanks for selecting my photos. I also paid a visit to KRM in early February, not sure if I've got those photos up here yet or not. After doing these two museums,it's awfully tempting to start looking for others nearby to go check out.

Please do!!!!!!! My RRAdventures topics are all about places I have visited and it would be good to hear from others about places they have been.

Thanks for picking that old shot of mine, Adam. History: That was taken in December 1991 during 3751's first public outing after restoration. My wife and I rode the legs between Barstow and Bakersfield, over the Tehachapi Loop, and the return portion the next day. This was taken on the return trip from car Palm Leaf. If you notice the grunge all over 3751 and the two beautiful ATSF SDP-45 (I think) helpers, we had just come through Tunnel 5, with 3751 working hard and steam blasting 30 years of diesel grunge off the tunnel roof, depositing it on the engines and cars. One of the reasons that pic is so poor is it was raining pretty good, which turned into snow before we reached Tehachapi. It was a very memorable trip. I just built a new RI album with rescanned negatives, poor as they are. :tb-biggrin:

The first shot from SimRacin14 is cool. Across the old trestle to the right is the Wild Turkey Bourbon distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY. Anyone care for a drink? :tb-wink:

Daniel's inside shot of the terminal reminds me of Grand Central Station in NYC.

Another fine selection this week Adam.
