This 2011 will become an expensive year. I'm still saving money for a K-27 and C-19.

When Blackstone decides to do something other than D&RGW, I might spend some $$ with them. Love thier stuff, wrong railroad for me. And I am not asking for eastern narrow gauge stuff either, although that would be nice to. Guess more of my $$ will go to brass dealers for vintage C&S engines and cars. Cheers Mike

I have placed my reservation although I have to be honest I really am disappointed with the steep price tag. Obviously these are going to be gorgeous models but still, I can get an HO scale Athearn loco for the same price as one of these cars....

Yes you can, but compare the number of Athearn diesels you'de have to the number of coaches for HOn3. One friend of mine has about 70 diesels and 200 cars..

Don't forget that there are other car kits out there. I've seen E&B Valley kits all over. Not with all the oohlala details of BS, but if you don't mind that, not too bad!

I am glad to see the new passenger cars but I don't think I will not be buying any of them as they cost to much. I will buy some of the trucks when they offer them for sale if the price is right.

I am using their trucks now on most of my freight cars.

Glad they did the coaches first. They are the most generic of the passenger cars on the Grande. Aside from the open platform coaches and baggage cars, the rest of the cars were very specific to the road and have little value to other prototypes. But those coaches can pass for the varnish on a few different roads...
