OK, OK, OK, I know that most of the Modelers here are N Scale; but, to be fair to all scales I will also post a link to the TrainBoard 10th Anniversary Poll topic in this forum too...

Do my eye's decieve me, only 148 Votes which is only 49.66% of the responces! OK N Scalers, show your power by uping your numbers to show who is the true Rail Baron of TrainBoard. Don't want those Z or HO Scalers to show up up do you!

Done, we are now a full 50%.

Unfortunately I rarely visit more than a few sections of the forum and don't always see stuff like this.

My intuition tells me that N scalers are on the whole more plugged into the internet. Poll results conducted via a traditional medium (MR, e.g.) might be quite different

What needs to be done would be a the same pole in multiple mediums (Print w/mail in, Internet, Train Show questionaire) with an additional question....

Did you reply to the any of the following: Select all that apply

    A - Internet Pole
    B - Mail in Pole
    C - Train Show questionaire

Use that to compare between the different venues to get a true scope of the number of modelers is a particular scale.

It would need to be taken over a course of time to compare notes. Not every MR subscriber is on the internet, not every Internet respondent would see the MR pole, etc, etc.

Thanks for the link Darren. We're now over 58%. We N scaler seem to be the most active members here. I don't know why.

    Just checked it.
Voted for the 3 scales I have:
    G, 3 Rail and N.

Too much stuff, not nearly enough wall space!
