I suppose Kato doesn't do other roads versions because they want to get as much out of that particular ES44AC shell as possible. That shell version looks the same as the UP version of the shell. Is it possible that Kato could do so much Union Pacific stuff that people just don't need anymore UP stuff and people stop buying it? I wish Kato would do an SD70M-2 because CN and NS both have those. And I'd really like the SD70M-2 demo as they were on CN and IHB for a little while.

I'm definitely still a fan of Kato. And to Kato's credit, their CSX GEVO has the correct number of dynamic brake vents, but the Fox Valley one in that case doesn't.

But I'm SUPER EXCITED that Fox Valley is now doing some CN ES44DCs. CN's most recent GEVOs have the more common rectangular 2-piece windshields and Fox Valley picked up on that. CN's first GEVOs had the other style 2-piece windshield that they've been ordering since they stopped ordering the 4-piece windshield in the early 90s. I can't wait for the Fox Valley CN GEVOs!

Kato seems to not make certain roads. How long did it take them to do the Super Fleet BNSF dash-9's. FOREVER!
