Really going backfor this one. Trix boxcar. originally had a black roofwalk. I took it off. If there was ever an 85' boxcar with a roofwalk thats news to me. Has to be around 40 years old.
They are made by a company called fine N scale products and you can get them at some train store.com They offer two different versions of the wagontop boxcar one is the small lettering capitol logo smooth side door the other is the large B&O with the rib type doors.
Nice. Thank you. I'm not actually a B&O modeller, but I've just always really liked the look of their wagontop cabooses and boxcars. Maybe a few for interchange cars might be believable enough.
PGE-N°2, The late Bill Hewlett photographed B&O wagon-top box car #385510 at Squamish in the Summer of 1954. It quite likely arrived aboard the barge of the same name as your ID. Cheers, Greg Kennelly Burnaby, BC
Ha-ha, not that it's relevant to the subject of this thread, but my username is actually taken from the PGE steam engine No. 2. Also the only surviving PGE railway steam engine. But I do appreciate the confirmation that I can safely use some wagon tops as interchange cars. Maybe even some imagineering can have some wagon top cars with PGE logos on them :tb-biggrin:.
Hey B&O guys. A newcomer started a thread on painting B&O cars. So far.... Mr not so experienced (me) shared my thoughts. Give him a read
Always good to see nice locos... especially those sharks. B&O sure knew how to craft an attractive paint scheme.
