    multiply with 25mm to get from inches to mm.

    Check Microscale for decals, some N scale can be used for Z scale.

    There is a better tool for conversion and can be related to scale as well.

    Download ScaleCalc 1.0 Free - Simple calculator designed for scale models fans. - Softpedia

    "http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Math-Scientific/ScaleCalc.shtml"

    ScaleCalc is the tool you can convert any measurement in 1:1 scale to any other measurement in addition you can convert real dimensions to scale dimensions in any scale not just the popular trains scales. Got a drawing in N-scale and you want HO pop the dimensions into scalecalc and view the result.

    1 inch = 2.54 cm
    12 inches = ~30.5 cm = 1 foot
    3 feet =~0.914 m = 1 yard

    What I discovered when reading most of the modelrailroading magazines, dealing mainly with Horribly Oversized is that between HO and Z there is a 2.53 ratio (see above).

    So every size and data given in inches on an HO trackplan can almost be translated into centimeters when shifting from HO to Z.:tb-wink:

    Funny, isn't it?:D

    " = inches
    ' = feet.

    This seems to be a MAC program. Is there one for Windows? I didn't see one.
