Are you sure the interface you're using with the software is working? Check by seeing if any other decoders work, assuming you have any other decoders. You can also try reading the CVs with the DCC command station to see if you get the same thing. This will tell you if the problem is the decoders or the computer interface and software. If this is the first time you have tried using the software make sure it's configured correctly for your DCC setup. Decoder Pro has a "preference" setup that tells the software what interface hardware to use to talk to the DCC command station. I've had the same problem using DecoderPro. I even disconnected DecoderPro and used my throttle to perform a CV8 to 08, and that didn't work. My resolution was to send to Digitrax for repair or replacement.
Thank you for the information I've got over 100 loco on DCC that I have use JMRI Decoder Pro on and just the two Digitrax DN163Kob decoders went this way. look like I will send them back to Digitrax .
