ATSF Mini-logos on cabeese

    I have a question regarding the little 4 logos that santa fe had on the sides of the cabooses. Where these for safety purposes or identify the cars as part of the fleet?

    If you mean the little circle-crosses along the bottom, those were Scotchlite reflective decals for safety purposes, SF freight cars during the 60s-70s had them also.
