Rope? Where to get?

I'm needing some G scale 3-strand braided rope...anyone know where I could get some? Need about +/-5 feet worth of the stuff.

O scale may work too.

Have you looked at the bunches of embroidery thread? I pull them apart for HO rope, but it might be thick enough as is for G, or something you can twist together.

 

I checked with the biggest G scale vendor who sells thousands of minature parts and it doesn't look like they sell what you want which means you are stuck making your own. Sometimes this happens and us G scale people just go to the hardware store to look and see what would be close to scale such as twine. Although the place I'm talking about also sells chains, hooks and pulleys.
