One day ago, I posted a thread asking about stock DC boards for Kato "N" E8/9

For the most part I was just expecting help directing me to WHERE I could purchase

these items, and I did receive answers that were helpful. I have always stated that

this N Scale forum has some of THE best participants who really shine their light on

their collegues and on this N scale hobby. Well, just as true to form, David

(DCESharkman) contacted me and was most generous in donating to me the stock

DC circuit boards for the Kato E8/9's. In one fast swoop of kindness, he solved my

problem so now I can do the conversion. An absolutely fantastic gentleman with

a kind and joyfull heart. David, my hat is off to you, I cannot thank you enough

for you are a true example of what good will really is. You are what the world needs

more of, thank you again my wonderful new friend.

I agree with fatalxsunrider43, this is a GREATforum. Two years ago I posted the need for a boxcar floor. It took only 11 minutes for JimmyGold to come to my rescue. A few days later the floor arrived. Thanks again Jimmy.

Are you taking DCC and putting the DC boards back in them? What do you have planned for the decoders?

The DCC Decoders will come out while I still operate under DC. Once the funds are appropriated for DCC infrastructure, then the DCC boards will go back in. I will probably run DC for a year.

Is there a market for DC boards? I have a few I'd like to sell for a modest amount. Or maybe not, when I think about it. So I think they'd be worth a buck plus postage, or maybe $1.44, so it would be nicer to just give them away. Of course, these days it costs $1.00 in gas just to get to the post office.
