Pedro Rezende, great website. I've been glued since I'd discovered this thread. Thanks for supplying us with the photo and information. I hope to have some fun with what I learned in the future. verse
Friends, I think We can develop a HO railroad project for these locos. We can exchange information and photos of our models. I can get every photo of details needed to build the models. We can open a thread here in Train Board to exchange our experiences. In my opinion, the easiest model to be done is BB40-9W, because it uses the same carbody. We just need to cut the fuel tank a bit. The most difficult one is BB40-2, because we need to enlarge de frames, cut the hoof, change the hood doors, etc. This loco suffered a lot of modifications.
yes please, I am interested as well. I've started once a project (one of so many...) with a Kato C44-9W and four Microtrains Z scale F trucks... I'am very interested to get more information about this engines (also the BB40T-2), thank you...
are you using TT scale drives/trucks (12mm) for this H0 project ? N scale drives/trucks (9mm) would be to narrow I guess...
Count me in Pedro. I model both N & HO. My first attempt might well be in HO. Please send all the info you can I'll start soon after.
Hi friends, I opened a thread in HO section called "Let´s model a EFVM BB36-7" to share information on how to build this unit. Please, visit it and give your opinion and share a bit of you experience in scratch. Thanks Pedro
