Funny thing about licensing programs, most companies don't have them. And if we had to sign an agreement with every company, we'd be spending a lot on lawyers and everything would cost more. "It's easier to get forgiveness than permission" is how we approach it unless we see that a company has an active licensing program. The one time I tried to get permission in advance, the company said, "We're not interested in getting involved," and the models could not be made.

In December 2008 I ordered through my local dealer 505011 "K"-Line containers 5-pack, but never received them.

Was it cancelled?

I'm trying to get good pics of those UMAX containers because I'd really like to see them made. But it's been too cold lately... well, for Texas.

I either never saw these on the market in the summer of 2008 (neither in LHSes nor online), or people just gobbled them up like hotcakes. Either way, DI needs to re-run them NOW!

And China Shipping and COSCO too!

 

I was lucky enough to get this set. According to the DI Reservation Order Form, which was recently updated, COSCO 5-packs are due in May '11, and K-Line 5-packs are also being rerun (no ETA yet). No sign of China Shipping, but I would definitely like those too.

If these new schedules hold, there will be LOTS of new can showing up in April & May. Prepare your wallets!

Thanks for the notice! I just lost out on a eBay bid yesterday where the seller sold 3 two-packs of COSCO 40' high-cubes. The winning bid got it for $31.50.
